a life wasted

my latest oil painting, produced for a group show entitled 'life' it depicts death holding a new life. it was created to provoke thoughts of hope and positivity, with an initial reaction of despair and loss. the baby is distraught at the thought of death and a wasted time on this earth, while death is relaxed and almost joyous at the end of a life filled with love and happiness. never give up hope, always keep in mind that things will get better
